Where can I study toxicology and naturopathic medicine?
I have an interest in both areas,so I’m wondering if there are any universities or college in which I could study both areas.
Toxicology is probably mostly taught together with a subject like biochemistry or pharmacology. It’s more of a lab science than a clinical science so you could find it hard to get the two together. On the other hand if you’re thinking more clinically along the lines of environmental medicine (sometimes known as clinical ecology), that is sometimes taught along with naturopathic medicine. Basically it’s the study of how pollutants and food intolerances can affect health, and contribute to problems like chronic fatigue or even parkinsonism, ALS and so on. It uses naturopathic nutritional therapy to help get liver enzymes working better to cope with pollutants.
