Natural Cures Leg Cramps
Does anyone know about RLS? Is FDA involved in stop of Quinine to allow Pharmaceuticals to market new drugs?
My Aunt has had “leg cramping” at night for years and has been taking quinine. Now all of a sudden, they do not “make it” anymore. She is going nuts, but refuses to believe it is RLS because she has “pain.” She has to get up out of bed to get it to stop and is not getting enough sleep as a result. She refuses to look at natural cures as she does not want any reactions with her meds…she is 81 and worships MD’s but complains that “he will just want to see me again.” Anyone have anything natural as in foods etc. to suggest?
I don’t know how long ago you posted this question, but my friend had leg cramping and Restless leg syndrome. Her doctor told her to buy club soda I am pretty sure it was club soda, and on the label it says Contains quinine. she drinks just one little bottle before she goes to bed…adds lemon or something to help the taste, and her leg cramps are gone. look in the supermarket where they have all the soda. I don’t drink it so I am not absolutely positive if that was it,,,but that is where she got it,
