Homeopathic Remedies- Natural Remedies to beat diseases

Our body is like a machine. As the machine works until and unless its all parts work properly, similarly we can be healthy if our all systems work in a well manner. In case of any disturbance in the system we want it to be cured as soon as possible. But the question arises what type of medication can give us best results without any sideffects so that we could have a longer and healthy life.

Homeopathy is the answer for this question. Although the process is slow, but the remedies it gives are safe, effective and have long life effects. Once a disease treated with homeopathic remedies, it cannot appear again as homeopathy works on deep rooted reasons of any illness.

Homeopathic remedies are made up of extracts from plants, animals and also minerals and other organic compounds. For e.g. thyroid hormones, arsenic oxide, table salt etc. Sometimes these are also prepared from harmful and pathogen containing compounds known as nosodes.

The process for the formation of such remedies is a different one known as dynamisation or potentisation. Here compound is first of all made fine powder and then mixed with alcohol or distilled water. This is then shaken forcibly with thrusting it on an elastic body. This practice is known as succession. Succession is very crucial factor in preparation. With this homeopathic remedy is diluted to an extend where no original molecule is left in the solution.. This method was adopted to dilute the solution because compound has the same substance which causes disease and if they are given in higher concentration, can generate harmful lethal substances.

Most of the credit for finding the right remedy for the diseases goes to Hahnemann, Father of Homeopathy, who did this through a method known as proving. In proving he used the samples on a healthy patient rather than a sick person as it was difficult to detect from a sick person which symptom was from disease or which from remedy.

In order to treat a certain disease, homeopaths refer to two things basically. One is Materia medica and the other one is repertories. In Materia medica, there are pictures of drugs related to symptoms that give complete information about the symptom patterns of each remedy. They are arranged in alphabetical order. The other one, Repertory is the book that lists all the remedies in an order with all the symptoms associated with the same.

According to Sameul Hahnemann, most of the chronic diseases are caused due to few particular miasms. These are generated slowly in the body once the disease is suppressed by the medication. These miasms are hidden and are very much difficult to ascertain. These get modified with the conditions like climate, physical state of an individual, his mental tensions and what diet he follows. Homeopathy believes that proper treatment of any diseases occurs only by fighting the deeper disturbance. Suppression of miasms for a temporary period can generate deep seated problems in future.

As homeopathic medicines contain water and alcohol, they are safe except in certain cases where ingredients are present in noticeable amount. It is due to carelessness in preparation or low dilution. But then with so many positive aspects one should go for homeopathic treatment to beat the disease.
