Is there a doctor out there that is a specialist in acid reflux and can help cure it naturally?
I am definitely not taking pills for the rest of my life because I have acid reflux. I’m a 13 year old that suffers from it daily and it’s ruining my life. I used to be a lead singer for a rock band and because of acid reflux……I can’t sing anymore. I’ve had acid reflux for about 8 months now.
It is my fault that I have acid reflux because our practices would be a bit late….ending around 9:30pm, so afterward I would get home and eat. I was stupid not to realize at the time that I was eating fast food (burgers, tacos etc.) right before bed and going to sleep right away after about 20 minutes. So 2 weeks later, I thought that I came down with laryngitis but I found out that I had acid reflux. I haven’t eaten fast food or any greasy foods since then and have tried many things but it’s not curing me enough to allow me to sing. I could talk but my esophagus is much too damaged from the acid to allow me to sing.
Any tips or personal experience would be extremely appreciated ;]
I know a baby is kind of different then you but when my son had acid reflux, the doctors gave him babies gaviscon sachets to go into his bottles, maybe you could try the adult gaviscon sachets to see if it helps, rennies are also good for settling excess stomach acid and avoiding spicy foods.
