Ayurveda Test
There was no blood tests, X-rays or other findings before, but how they diagnosed diseases reading eyes?
I heard that there are several 100’s of pressure points end in the eyes and their color shows the performance or condition of different parts of the body.
This has something to do with Acupuncture and Ayurveda. Could anyone throw more light on it?
Yes, I’m familiar with this. The study of detecting diseases in the body by looking at the eyes is called iridology. I had an iridologist examine me when I was a teenager. My mother took me so she and I both could have a reading. We are interested in natural forms of medicine and healing. However, we were not impressed with the iridologist. We felt he was inaccurate, he appeared to be under the influence of drugs, and aside from his fee, after diagnosing us he wanted a lot of money to “cure” us. We thought we were being scammed. I have since done some reading about iridology because the concept is interesting. I learned that conventional science debunks iridology (no surprise there). I still believe that it has some merit, but the bottom line is that most diseases can be detected by having a yearly physical exam and blood work, so I have not and will not have an iridology reading again.
