Breastfeeding then straight to a sippy cup?
i saw this product in my local supermarket before
,

and i was wondering if it would be a good idea to go from breastfeeding (i plan to breastfeed exclusively for the first four months) straight to a sippy cup like this one? it makes more sense to go straight to sippy cup rather than weaning him off the breast to a bottle then off the bottle to a sippy cup. has anyone done this? do you recommend it, or think its a bad idea?……

heres a better link, sorry. its the tomee tipee Easiflow Bottle to Cup Trainer, its sutible for 3 months +
it’s all just ideas at the minute, as i’m only due in ten days, i haven’t had him yet. but i was thinking of swapping to a bottle/cup similar to the one i linked and just expressing till six months. so he would still be getting breastmilk.
Breast feeding to sippy cup is the recommended method BUT you will need to continue to breast feed for a year for this to work as your baby will need this.
If you need to introduce a bottle at four months, make sure you start earlier as your baby may refuse it. You do not want this battle believe me, I know one that had to go on a feeding tube.
